Community Resurrection Run

The Community Resurrection Run is an annual sports and community event held at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Batesburg, South Carolina. The gathering features a chip-timed running race alongside family-oriented holiday activities. All proceeds from the event are used to support community outreach programs.

Participants can choose from the following activities:

  • 5K Run
  • Resurrection Run Kid's Games and Easter Egg Hunt

The 5K Run follows a USATF certified, mostly flat out-and-back course that starts and finishes at the church. The event is open to a variety of participants; strollers are permitted, and dogs are allowed provided they remain on a leash. Walking the course is also an available option for those not wishing to run.

Registration includes access to a Wake-up Station offering coffee before the events and a Recovery Station upon completion of the race. Participants who register by the early deadline of March 21st receive a commemorative race visor. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, the top male and female masters participants (ages 40 and up), and the top three finishers in several age divisions ranging from 12 and under to 70 and up. Parallel to the race, the event hosts a kids' party with games and an Easter egg hunt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
