Lester Fun Run 2026
The Lester Fun Run is a family-friendly fundraising event organized by the Lester PTA in Downers Grove, Illinois. It supports school programs and activities; over 35% of the PTA programming budget is generated by the Fun Run and its surrounding activities, which include experiences, raffles and silent auctions. The PTA has set a fundraising target of $25,000 for the year, to be reinvested into programs that benefit Lester students.
The event offers multiple race distances and an option to purchase T-shirts. Race participants who want to take part in both distances must register separately for each distance and will receive a separate timing bib for each race.
Registration opens on July 28. Registrations made by September 5 are guaranteed a T-shirt; race entries remain open until the day of the event. Race timing bibs and T-shirts will be distributed to classrooms during the week of September 21.
