Run For The Mind / NAMIWalks
Run For The Mind / NAMIWalks takes place on September 27, 2025, at St. James Farm Forest Preserve in Warrenville. The event is organized by NAMI DuPage and includes an opening ceremony, a 5K Run/Walk on a scenic, USATF certified course, a 1-mile Color Run co-hosted with the DuPage Prevention Leadership Team, and a Kid Zone. The Color Run segment is led by local high school students as part of an Anti-Stigma Campaign. Participants using strollers, wheelchairs, and pets are welcome; all pets must be leashed with a maximum leash length of 10 feet.

Logistics, fundraising, and support
Parking is accessed via the Hoy Entrance on the north side of Butterfield Road at the end of Hoy Avenue. In the event of inclement or severe weather, the event will be canceled; there is no rain date and no refunds or exchanges. The event uses a peer-to-peer fundraising model that lets participants create personal or team fundraising pages. Proceeds support local mental health programs and services.
