12th Annual Christmas Without Cancer 5K Run/Walk

This event is a fundraising 5K scheduled for September 19, 2026 in Evergreen Park, Illinois (9719 S. Homan Ave., 60805). It offers in-person and virtual participation options and raises funds to support Christmas Without Cancer NFP.

There are three participation options: an in-person 5K walk that does not use bibs; an in-person 5K run that includes a bib and chip timing and qualifies participants for awards; and a virtual 5K that participants may complete on their own course and schedule. The registration fee is $35. Virtual participants who live within a 30-mile radius are required to pick up their event materials in person.

Christmas Without Cancer is a nonprofit established in 2003 by an oncology nurse. Funds raised enable year-round assistance for Southland families affected by cancer. Support includes Christmas gifts and gift cards for gas, groceries, and medications, as well as financial help for mortgage and rent, car payments, school tuition, and other household bills.
