Christmas Without Cancer 5K Run/Walk
The event is the 12th annual 5K run and walk held to raise funds for Christmas Without Cancer NFP. It takes place on September 19, 2026 at 9719 S. Homan Ave., Evergreen Park, Illinois. The event includes in-person and virtual options.
Options include an in-person walking event, an in-person 5K run with bib and chip timing, and a virtual 5K run or walk that participants may complete on their own time and route. The entry fee is $30. Registration opens May 26, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026. Virtual participants who live within a 30 mile radius are required to pick up race materials.
Proceeds support Christmas Without Cancer NFP's efforts to assist families in the southland who are affected by cancer. The organization, founded in 2003, provides Christmas gifts, and gift cards for gas, groceries, and medications, and offers support throughout the year. Over more than two decades the organization has assisted many families in the Southland region.
