Christmas Without Cancer 5K Run/Walk
The 12th annual Christmas Without Cancer 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Klein Park (Circle Park), 9700 S. Homan Ave., Evergreen Park, IL. The course is outdoors through the Evergreen Park neighborhood and starts and finishes at Klein Park; the course is certified and maps are provided for participants.
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. Online registration opens Friday, May 29 and remains open until Friday, September 11 at noon. Early bird pricing and group rates apply through July 31, with standard pricing afterward. Registered participants may receive a t shirt, an event medal, optional chip timing, and awards for race winners, top fundraisers, and the largest team.
Packet pickup and in-person registration are available at the Hamilton B. Maher Community Center, 3450 W. 97th St., Evergreen Park, on Wednesday September 16, Thursday September 17, and on race day Saturday September 19. Volunteers receive an event shirt, a raffle ticket, and an invitation to an after party luncheon. The event includes trophies and 1st through 3rd place pins across multiple age categories, and fundraising incentives such as Visa gift card awards for top individual and team fundraisers.
