About the race
The 3rd Annual Leprechaun Run is a 5k fun run taking place at American Legion Post 127 in Lake Helen, Florida. The event is a fundraiser to support local Military Veterans and their families through American Legion Post 127. The event offers a 5k run/walk and a separate youth registration for participants aged 18 and under. All finishers receive a finisher medal, and participants get a custom event logo shirt (sizes not guaranteed after February 15).
The race is a fun run where the top three male and top three female finishers will be awarded. There is no chip timing or age group awards. Post-race, free pancakes and beer (for those of legal drinking age) are provided. There is also a free kids run at 9 a.m., where all participating children receive a winning ribbon. Packet pickup is available on March 19 and 20 at the Post, and on race day starting at 7:00 a.m.
Parking is available at Ivy Hawn Charter School. Registration fees increase over time, starting at $20 for adults and $15 for youth. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
