Bunny Hop 5K
The Bunny Hop 5K is an annual running event held at Gemini Springs Park in Debary, Florida. The sixth edition of the race takes place on Easter Sunday. The course follows an out and back route along the Spring-to-Spring Trail, with both the start and finish lines located within the park grounds.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 km Run/Walk
- 1 mile Kids Fun Run
The 5 km race features chip timing with live results. All participants in this category receive a swag bag containing a race t-shirt and a finisher medal. Recorded finish line videos and digital finisher certificates are provided for participants to download. Water and electrolyte stations are positioned along the course and at the finish line to provide hydration.
The 1 mile Kids Fun Run is open to children aged 12 and under. These participants receive a youth t-shirt, a custom race bib, and a finisher medal. The race bib must be displayed to allow participation in this specific event.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Recognition is also given to the top three male and female finishers in various age groups, ranging from 10 and under to 80 and over. The fastest three participants in the kids run receive Easter baskets. Additional activities on site include an Easter egg hunt, egg decorating, and snacks.
