Event Details
The Pirate 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The event is held at Lake Beresford Park in DeLand, Florida.
Distances
The event features three distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
All races share the same start time.
Course Information
The courses are out-and-back loops on a paved trail. The 5K and 10K share a base loop of 0.78 miles (1.56 miles out-and-back). The 5K completes this loop two times, and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09-mile loop (2.18 miles out-and-back) and completes it six times. The course has a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances.
Registration and Logistics
All participants must register online via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and ends 10 minutes before. Parking at the start location is limited. Overflow parking is available approximately 0.50 miles away, and participants are advised to allow extra time to reach the start if using this lot.
