Lemont Frigid 5K
The Lemont Frigid 5K is an annual running event held at Centennial Park in Lemont on 12/06/2026. The course covers 3.1 miles and is organized by the Lemont Park District. The event is scheduled to occur snow or shine.
Online registration is available through race day morning. Registrations completed by 11/19 are guaranteed a hoodie. Registration after 11/19 carries a higher fee and does not guarantee a hoodie; race day registration is available with limited hoodie availability on a first come first serve basis. Fee levels listed by the organizer include $45, $55, and $65 depending on registration time.
Participants are invited to wear ugly sweaters and holiday gear. A post race after party will include a hot chocolate bar, awards, and refreshments. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each standard age category for men and women.
Packet pick up is handled at The CORE Fitness and Aquatic Complex at 16050 127th Street in Lemont. The CORE gym is available for runners to wait prior to the race. Pets and strollers are not allowed.
