Leicester 10K - Event overview
The Leicester 10K is a charity road race taking place on Sunday 07 February 2027 with a city centre start and finish at Jubilee Square. The course moves through the city centre, into Victoria Park, past the University of Leicester and by landmarks such as the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery and Leicester Cathedral before returning to Jubilee Square.
Entrants must be at least 15 years old on event day. The event uses chip timing and provides a finisher's goody bag, an exclusive finisher's medal and the option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt and an iTAB engraving for the medal.
On course support includes water stations supplying 330 ml screw top bottles, recycling bins at each water station and regular first aid cover with fixed medical points near the water stations. A first aid unit and recovery area will be located close to the start and finish. Baggage drop is available with a tear-off strip on the race number for bag identification. Toilets are provided and the organiser operates a zero-tolerance policy for public urination; breaches may result in disqualification.
Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags showing target finish times. An Event Village in Jubilee Square will offer food and drink for purchase, host partner charities and provide a Race Office with trainer drop-off stations for reuse. Race photography, results reporting and a massage service are available on the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
