Leicester 10K : event overview
The Leicester 10K takes place on Sunday 07 February 2027 and uses a city centre start and finish at Jubilee Square. The route runs through the city centre into Victoria Park, passes the University of Leicester and several city landmarks including Leicester Museum & Art Gallery and Leicester Cathedral, before returning to Jubilee Square.
Entrants must be aged 15 or older on event day. Race services include chip timing, a finisher's goody bag, an exclusive finisher's medal and the option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt and an iTAB engraving for the medal. Photography is provided by MarathonPhotos and all results are published in the event results section after the race.
On course there are water stations offering 330 ml screw top bottles and recycling bins at water stations. Medical cover includes roaming first aiders, fixed first aid stations near water points, and a first aid unit and recovery area close to the start and finish. Pacers are available with flagged target times ranging from Sub 40 minutes up to Sub 120 minutes.
Event facilities in Jubilee Square include an Event Village with food and drink vendors, partner charities, baggage storage with a tear-off strip system, toilets, and a massage service.
