Leicester 10K - event overview
The Leicester 10K is a charity road run taking place on Sunday 07 February 2027 in Leicester city centre. The event starts and finishes at Jubilee Square and follows a route through the city centre, Victoria Park, the University of Leicester, and past landmarks such as the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery and Leicester Cathedral.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day. The event offers chip timing, a finisher's goody bag, an exclusive finisher's medal, and the option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt and an engraved iTAB memento. MarathonPhotos will take on-course photographs available for purchase after the race.
On event day there is an Event Village in Jubilee Square with food and drink vendors and partner charities. Baggage can be left in the designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip on the race number. Water stations on course provide 330ml screw top bottles and recycling bins are located at each station. Toilets are available and a zero-tolerance policy applies to public urination.
Medical cover includes fixed first aid stations near water stations, a first aid unit and recovery area close to the start and finish, and roaming first aiders. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on course with flags showing target finish times across a wide range, including up to 120 minutes.
