Leicester 10K : event overview
The Leicester 10K is a road race held on Sunday 07 February 2027 in the heart of the Midlands. The event starts and finishes at Jubilee Square and follows a city centre route that passes Victoria Park, Leicester Cathedral and the city university.
The event includes chip timing, an exclusive finisher's medal and a finisher’s goody bag. Entrants have the option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt and to add an iTAB engraving for their medal. Entry is open to people aged 15 years or over on the day of the race.
Event facilities are concentrated around the Event Village in Jubilee Square, which offers food and drink outlets, partner charity stands, a baggage store and toilet provision. Water stations supply 330 ml bottles and recycling bins are provided at each water station. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on course carrying flags with target finish times.
Medical support includes fixed first aid stations near the water stations, a first aid unit and recovery unit near the start and finish, and roaming first aiders around the Event Village. MarathonPhotos will take on-course photographs and Top Tier Physio will provide a massage service after the race.
Travel options noted for Jubilee Square include nearby car parks within short walking distance, Haymarket Bus Station approximately a 10 minute walk and Leicester Railway Station about an 18 minute walk.
