Event overview
The Leicester 10K is a charity road race taking place on Sunday 01 March 2026 in Leicester city centre. The event starts and finishes at Jubilee Square and is organised as a 10 kilometre road run. Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day.
Included for participants are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag and an exclusive finisher’s medal. There is an option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt and to have a medal engraved with iTAB. Race numbers are collection-only and must not be used by anyone other than the registered entrant.
Route, facilities and services
The course goes through the city centre, Victoria Park and the University of Leicester, passing landmarks such as Leicester Museum & Art Gallery and Leicester Cathedral. Water stations on course provide 330 ml screw-top bottles and have recycling bins nearby. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on the course with flags showing finish times.
An Event Village will offer food and drink outlets and host partner charities. Baggage may be left in the designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip from the race number. Toilets are located around the stadium. Medical teams and first aid stations are positioned at regular intervals and near the start and finish. Photography will be available from MarathonPhotos and official results will be published after the event.
