Leicester 10K - Sunday 07 February 2027
The Leicester 10K is a city-centre road race held in Jubilee Square. The course runs through the city centre, into Victoria Park, past the University of Leicester and several city landmarks including the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery and Leicester Cathedral, before returning to Jubilee Square. The event is organised as a charity road run and welcomes runners taking part for fundraising or personal goals.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day. Chip timing is provided and finishers receive a goody bag and an exclusive finisher medal; there is also an option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt and to add an engraved iTAB memento.
Event facilities include an Event Village with food and drink outlets and charity stands, a designated Baggage Store with a tear-off strip system for bag collection, on-course water stations supplying 330 ml screw-top bottles, toilets, and a massage service by Top Tier Physio. Medical cover includes roaming first aiders, fixed first aid stations near water stops, and a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein carry flags showing target finish times. Photographs will be available from MarathonPhotos and official results will be published in the event results section after the race.
Transport options noted include nearby city-centre car parks, Leicester Railway Station (about an 18-minute walk), and Haymarket Bus Station (about a 10-minute walk). Recycling bins and trainer drop-off points support on-site sustainability measures. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
