Leicester 10K - event overview
The Leicester 10K is a charity road run held in the city centre of Leicester on Sunday 07 February 2027. The route starts and finishes at Jubilee Square and passes through the city centre, Victoria Park, the University of Leicester and past landmarks such as Leicester Museum and Art Gallery and Leicester Cathedral.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day. The event provides chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive finisher's medal; there is also an option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt and to have a medal engraved with an iTAB. Race photographs are taken on course by MarathonPhotos and results are published after the event.
On event day there is an Event Village in Jubilee Square offering food and drink for purchase and space for partner charities. A designated Baggage Store operates using the tear-off strip on the race number. Water stations on course supply 330 ml screw top bottles and recycling bins are provided at each water station. First aid stations are located near the water stations and a first aid unit and recovery area are near the start and finish.
Pacers with clearly displayed flags are available for a wide range of target finish times, and bone conducting headphones are permitted if volume is kept low. The event includes services such as on-site massage and encourages sustainable practices including trainer drop-off stations with JogOn and use of recycling bins.
