Watermead Challenge

The Watermead Challenge is an annual running event organized by the Rotary Club of the Wreake Valley, held at Watermead Country Park North near Syston, Leicester. The 2025 edition marks its 15th running and features a 5-mile race on traffic-free, flat, tarmac paths within the park. The course is officially measured and chip-timed, ensuring accurate results.

Additionally, there is a non-timed 3-mile fun run for all ages. The event offers prizes for the top three male and female finishers in the 5-mile race, with medals awarded to all finishers of both races.
