Beat The Sunset 5K Road Race is scheduled for Sunday 26 July 2026. The event is organised by GoBeyondSport and is based at Targetcraft Archery, West Lodge Rural Centre, Back Lane, Desborough, Kettering NN14 2SH. Ticket sales close on 22 July 2026 and tickets are currently sold out. The event has an entry limit of 400.
Course and race details
The race is a one-lap, 5K road race on fully closed roads through the Northamptonshire countryside. The route includes a section along Brampton Wood Lane and finishes with a 700 m downhill section. Total elevation change on the course is +67 and -101 feet.
There is no water station on the course; bottled water will be provided for each finisher at the finish and competitors are asked to recycle their bottles. Free parking is available at the venue and toilet facilities are at Targetcraft Archery. Race day registration opens in the evening. Prizes are awarded to the first, second and third male and female competitors. Course records are 14:52 for the male course and 16:09 for the female course.
