Lehigh Gap Nature Center 10K - October 10, 2026
This event is a point to point trail race held at the Lehigh Gap Nature Center in Slatington, PA. It is the 15th running of the race and features an entirely new course for this edition. The route begins at the Nature Center and finishes 1,000 vertical feet up the west side of the Lehigh Gap.
The course touches several named trails on the Nature Center property. It starts with a short steep pitch on the LNE trail, continues along the LNE trail, then descends the steep Eagles Trail to the flat D&L corridor. Runners then follow the 3 Ponds trail into extended singletrack, which becomes more technical on the Double G and Chestnut Oak trails. The Prairie Grass trail provides rolling hills before the final mile, which ascends 1,000 vertical feet to the finish.
The event includes multiple distance options and takes place at the Nature Center address on Paint Mill Road in Slatington. The course mix includes steep climbs, technical singletrack, and a section on a flatter corridor. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
