LeFevre Coastal Running Festival 2026 - RUN PINK
The event marks the 11th running of the LeFevre Coastal Running Festival and returns to its original location at Semaphore South, a place known locally as the marathon capital of Australia. The 2026 edition is themed RUN PINK and includes a trophy for the participant who best represents this theme.
Distances offered:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 15 km
- 21.1 km (half marathon)
- 30 km
The main course uses the new Coast Park Stage One toward Tennyson and starts and finishes at Semaphore South. A 10.55 km loop goes to Largs Jetty and Tennyson before returning to the start/finish area. Every participant receives a finisher medal and a race bib, and race bibs are issued at check-in on race morning from the start/finish area.
Virtual run entries are available and must be completed on the official event day at a location chosen by the participant. Virtual entries include a race bib and finisher medal that require collection rather than postage, must be recorded on Strava or a similar service showing elapsed or total time, and require submission of a run link or screenshot for inclusion in published results. Part proceeds support the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
Registration closes at noon three days before the event date unless an extension is announced. Registrations made during any extension may receive a generic finisher medal instead of the engraved event medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
