Running For A Cure 2026
Running For A Cure is an in-person community event held at the Osborne Foreshore Playground in South Australia. This event serves as an awareness and fundraising initiative, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF). The 2026 edition marks the fourth time the event has been held since its start in 2017.
Participants can choose from three different distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21.1 km half marathon
The course follows the foreshore path, leading south from Osborne toward Semaphore before turning back to return to the starting area. The event is open to both runners and walkers, who can complete the course at their own pace. All registered participants receive a finishers medal upon completion.
Race bibs are collected on the morning of the event at the start and finish area. Registered participants receive an information email with event details a few days before the race date once the registration period has closed. The event is organized by Coastal Fun Runs and focuses on a low-key atmosphere while contributing to cancer research through the ACRF. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
