Leeds Running Festival
The Leeds Running Festival takes place within Roundhay Park, one of the largest city parks in Europe. This event supports St. Gemma’s Hospice, an organization providing care within the Leeds community. The course features a mix of road and gravel surfaces, leading participants through a landscape of lakes, woodland, and open parkland.
Available distances include:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Junior Race
The 5k route includes an elevation gain of 61m. All participants receive chip-timed results and access to free professional race photos. An event village is located on-site, offering various food and drink options as well as post-race goods from event partners.
Each finisher is awarded a unique themed medal upon completing their distance. The course is managed by a team of marshals stationed throughout the park to guide runners toward the finish line. The event organizer maintains a focus on sustainability and provides a professionally organized environment for all registered participants.
