Ilkley Incline 2026
The Ilkley Incline is an uphill-only road-to-trail race of 1 mile with approximately 560 ft of ascent. The route begins on tarmac road and then continues onto a stony track, giving a mixed surface experience. The course is single-lap and has a hilly profile. The event carries FRA category CS and a race licence 2025-8806. The organiser is Ilkley Harriers; race headquarters are at the junction of Wells Road and Keighley Gate Road in Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
Entry is limited to 200 runners and the standard entry fee is £4.00; on-the-day entries may be available for an additional £1 if the event has not sold out. Prizes are listed for first, second and third male and female finishers, with additional age-category prizes.
Facilities at the event are limited: no water provision, no distance markers, no toilets, no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs.
