Denby Dash
The Denby Dash is a scenic 5.6-mile trail race held in Upper Denby, Huddersfield, featuring an undulating course through fields, woodland, conservation land, and the historic Quaker Village at High Flatts. With a total ascent of 700 feet, the well-marked and marshalled route suits both recreational and club runners. The event, organized by the Denby Village Conservation Group, offers homemade flapjack for all finishers, prizes across age categories, and trophies for the first local male and female runners.
Additional junior races are available for children aged six and above. The race atmosphere is lively, with live music and refreshment stalls at The George Inn, making it a fun Bank Holiday Monday event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
