Even Splits Leeds 5K (AUG '26)
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly 5 km road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre from February to November. The event uses chip timing and sends finish-line results by text; mile splits are published the next day. A small refreshment is handed out at the finish.
The course is a flat, three lap road circuit and is marked with distance markers. The event lists an entry limit of 200 places and indicates 158 places remaining. The race is stated as suitable for wheelchairs. Facilities at Race HQ include water and toilets; there are no changing facilities, no showers, and no baggage storage. Race HQ is Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, Bodington Avenue, Leeds LS16 8NA.
On first entry a runner is assigned a race number with an embedded timing chip that can be reused at Leeds and York 5K events; the number is collected from Registration on first attendance. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020 to 2026 may be reused if recorded on the entry form. Entrants are entitled to one free number replacement in a 12 month period; subsequent replacements are charged at £4.
Single entries are priced at £10 for affiliated and £12 for unaffiliated runners. Race passes covering multiple events from August to November are offered. Entry on the day is not available. Entrants may defer their place once to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. No refunds are available and race places cannot be transferred.
