EvenSplits Leeds 5K (August 2026)
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly, chip-timed road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre. The event runs from February to November and is organised by Even Splits. The course covers 5 kilometres, is flat, and is run as three laps. The event has an entry limit of 200 runners and the course is suitable for wheelchairs. A race licence has been applied for.
Results are EA licensed and appear on Power of 10. Finish-line results are sent to runners by text as they cross, and mile splits are published the next day. First-time entrants are issued a race number with an embedded timing chip to be collected at Registration; the same chip number can be used at both the Leeds and York 5K events. Previously issued red 5K numbers may be reused if recorded on the entry form. Entrants are entitled to one free race-number replacement in any 12 month period; further replacements are charged.
Facilities at the Brownlee Centre include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Entries cannot be refunded or transferred. A place may be deferred once to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
