Even Splits Leeds 5K
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly 5 kilometre road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre from February to November. The course is flat and run over three laps, with an entry limit of 200 places and suitability noted for wheelchairs.
Races are chip timed and results appear on Power of 10. Finish-line text messages are sent as runners cross the line and mile splits are published the following day. First-time entrants are issued a race number with an embedded timing chip that can be used at both Leeds and York 5K events; the number is collected from Registration. Previously issued red 5K race numbers from 2020–26 may be reused if recorded on the entry form. Entrants are entitled to one free number replacement in a 12 month period; subsequent replacements cost £4.
Facilities at the Race HQ include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, showers or baggage storage. Race HQ is at the Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, Bodington Avenue, Leeds LS16 8NA.
Entry fees include race fees and administration. Single race entries are priced at £10 for affiliated runners and £12 for unaffiliated runners. Season passes for August to November are available at £34 affiliated and £40 unaffiliated. Entry on the day is not available. Places may be deferred once to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before the race. All entries are non refundable and race places cannot be transferred.
