Even Splits Leeds 5K (August 2026)
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly, traffic free 5 kilometre road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre. Races run from February to November on a flat, three lap course. The event has an entry limit of 200 runners and is listed as suitable for wheelchairs. A race licence has been applied for.
Races are chip timed and EA licensed, with results appearing on Power of 10. Finish line text messages are sent to competitors as they cross the line and mile splits are published the following day. Competitors receive a chocolate bar at the finish.
First time entrants are issued a race number with an embedded timing chip to collect from Registration. That chip can be reused for Leeds and York 5K events. Previously issued red 5K race numbers from 2020 to 2026 may be reused in 2026 if the number is recorded on the entry form. Each entrant is entitled to one free number replacement within a 12 month period; subsequent replacements are charged at £4.
Entry options include a single race entry at £10 affiliated or £12 unaffiliated, and a Leeds Race Pass for the August to November series at £34 affiliated or £40 unaffiliated. Race headquarters are at the Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, Bodington Avenue, Leeds LS16 8NA.
Facilities include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, showers or baggage storage. Refunds are not offered and places are non transferable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
