Event information
The Leeds 5K takes place on 26 August 2026 at the Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, Leeds LS16 8NA. The event is organised by Even Splits. The race is chip-timed and results appear on Power of 10. Results are sent by text at the finish and mile splits are published the next day. Finishers receive a chocolate bar.
Course and facilities

The course is on road, flat and run over three laps. The event has an entry limit of 200 and is listed as suitable for wheelchairs. On-course facilities include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage store.
Entry and policies
Online entry closes at 10:00 on race day and entry on the day is not available. Prices listed include fees and charges: single race entry £10 (affiliated) or £12 (unaffiliated); Leeds Race Pass (Aug-Nov) £34 (affiliated) or £40 (unaffiliated). New entrants receive a race number with an embedded timing chip for use at Leeds and York 5K events; previously issued RED 5K numbers from 2020-26 may be reused if recorded on the entry form. Each entrant is entitled to one free number replacement in a 12 month period; subsequent replacements cost £4. Places may be deferred once to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. No refunds and no transfers to another runner are permitted.
