Event Overview
The EvenSplits Leeds 5k is a monthly race series held from February to November at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre. The event offers a timed 5-kilometre run on a traffic-free, flat, three-lap road course. It is licensed by England Athletics.
Registration and Fees
Online entry closes on race day. Entry on the day is not available. The entry fee is £10 for affiliated runners and £12 for unaffiliated runners for a single race. A discounted multi-race pass is available for the August-November period. Race numbers are limited to 200 participants.
Race Details
The event features chip timing, with results sent by text message immediately after finishing. Mile splits are published online the following day. A reusable race number with an embedded timing chip is issued to first-time entrants and can be used for both Leeds and York 5k events. One free number replacement is offered per year.
Facilities
Available facilities include water stations, distance markers, and toilets. The event does not provide changing facilities, showers, or a baggage store.
Policies
Places are non-refundable and non-transferable to another runner. A one-time deferral to the next available race in the calendar year is permitted if requested at least three days before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
