Calderdale Hike

Calderdale Hike is a long-running endurance event organized by the 24th St Paul’s Scout Group in Sowerby Bridge, Calderdale. The 46th edition is set for Saturday, 11 April 2026, and is open to entrants aged 14 and over on the day. Participants can choose from 17-, 26-, or 36-mile routes, welcoming both runners and walkers.

The course highlights Calderdale’s countryside, with Stoodley Pike featured as a backdrop. The event is part of the Runfurther Championship (2025) and uses the professional Race Result timing system, with trophies awarded in line with terms and conditions.
