Ledyard Soccer Stride
Ledyard Soccer Stride is scheduled for September 6, 2026, at Ledyard Center Town Green, 740 Colonel Ledyard Highway, Ledyard, CT 06335, United States. The event features two running options:
- 5K officially timed road race.
- 1/4 mile Kids Fun Run for ages 10 and under; medals for all participants.
Registration opens on 02/19/2026 and closes on the day of the event. Registration fees listed are $30.00 for the 5K and $10.00 for the Kids Fun Run. Proceeds benefit the Ledyard Soccer Club, a 501c volunteer-run organization. The first 100 registrants for the 5K will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Medals and special gifts will be awarded to top finishers.
The 5K route is an out-and-back course that uses the new multi-use pathway. The course goes from the Town Green toward the high school, includes a lap around the school track, and returns via the same path. The route passes the Ledyard Congregational Church and follows Colonel Ledyard Highway and Gallup Hill Road. The course is described as stroller-friendly; runners should watch for oncoming participants and share the path.
