Ledyard Soccer Stride - Ledyard Center Town Green
This event takes place on 05/16/2026 at Ledyard Center, 740 Colonel Ledyard Highway, Ledyard, CT. It includes two running events:
- 5K - officially timed 5 kilometer race.
- 1/4 Mile Kids Fun Run - for ages 10 and under.
Proceeds benefit the Ledyard Soccer Club, a 501c volunteer-run organization. Medals will be given to all Kids Fun Run participants. Medals and special gifts are planned for top finishers, and the first 100 registrants in the 5K will receive a commemorative T-shirt. The Ledyard Middle School PTO will offer refreshments and swag.
Parking is available in the back lot, accessible via 740 Colonel Ledyard Highway or via Town Green road near the Ledyard Congregational Church. The 5K follows an out-and-back route using the new multi-use pathway to the high school and back, including a lap around the high school track. The course starts at the top of the Town Green and passes the Ledyard Congregational Church. The route is stroller-friendly; participants should watch for oncoming runners and share the path.
