3rd Annual LSC Soccer Stride
The event includes a timed running race and a separate kids fun run held at Ledyard Center Town Green, 740 Colonel Ledyard Highway, Ledyard, CT 06335. Proceeds benefit the Ledyard Soccer Club, a 501c volunteer run organization. Registration opens February 19, 2026 and closes May 16, 2026. Registration fees listed are $30.00 for the 5K and $10.00 for the kids run. Medals are awarded to all Kids Fun Run participants. The first 100 registrants for the 5K receive a commemorative T shirt. Medals and special gifts are given to top finishers.

The 5K follows an out and back route using the new multi use pathway. The course leaves the town center, follows Colonel Ledyard Highway to Gallup Hill Road, enters the high school top parking lot, includes a lap around the high school track, then returns along the same path to the Town Green. The route is described as stroller friendly. Participants should watch for oncoming runners and share the multi use path. Plenty of parking is available in the back lot accessed from Colonel Ledyard Highway or the road labeled Town Green near Ledyard Congregational Church.
