Ledyard Soccer Stride
The Ledyard Soccer Stride is a community running event held at Ledyard Center Town Green on June 20, 2026. The program includes an officially timed 5K and a 1/4 Mile Kids Fun Run for children age 10 and under.

The 5K uses an out and back route that follows the new multi-use pathway to the high school and back. The course starts at the top of the Town Green, passes behind the Ledyard Congregational Church, follows Town Green Road and Colonel Ledyard Highway to Gallup Hill Road, continues into the high school top parking lot and around the school track for one lap, then returns along the same roads and pathway to the start. The route is stroller friendly. Organizers advise runners to watch for oncoming runners and to share the pathway.
Parking is available in the back lot, accessible from 740 Colonel Ledyard Highway or the road labeled Town Green near the church. Registration opens February 19, 2026 and closes June 20, 2026. Registration fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids Fun Run. Proceeds benefit the Ledyard Soccer Club, a 501c volunteer-run organization. Medals will be given to all Kids Fun Run participants, and the first 100 5K registrants receive a commemorative T-shirt. Top finishers receive medals and special gifts.
