Groton City Brew Run
The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce and Groton Utilities present the Groton City Brew Run at Eastern Point Beach in Groton, CT on September 12, 2026. The event combines a community 5K run and walk with a brewfest that includes a beer garden, music, and food.
The 5K is a single mass start for runners and walkers. There is an option for beer garden access only, and a combined 5K plus beer garden option. Registration fees listed for the organized options are $32 for the 5K only, $34 for beer garden access only, $44 for the combined 5K and beer garden, and the kids run is free. Registration for the main options opens October 20, 2025 and closes August 23, 2026; the kids run requires pre-registration and has a later closing date.
Tech shirts are available to 5K participants while supplies last, distributed based on order of registration. The kids run is free, intended for ages 10 and under, and the exact distance and route for the kids run are to be determined.
