LeaLea Charity Run 5K : October 11, 2026
The LeaLea Charity Run 5 km takes place at Magic Island / Ala Moana Beach Park in Honolulu on October 11, 2026. The course is a single lap around Ala Moana Beach Park and is open to entrants aged seven and older. The event donates all entry fees to the Waikiki Aquarium to support renovations of the "Edge of the Reef" outdoor exhibit.
Registration fees are tiered: early bird through July 15 is $30, regular July 16 through September 30 is $40, and last minute from October 1 through race day is $50. A student rate of $30 applies to participants aged 20 and younger. A special discount rate is available for student groups of ten or more.
Packet pickup is at the HIS Ala Moana Store at Ala Moana Center on October 9 and October 10, with posted hours of 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Race-day packet pickup is also offered at the event location.
Awards are planned for the top three male and female finishers overall and the top three in 10-year age groups from ages 10 through 80. Additional prizes listed for top overall finishers include travel and hospitality certificates and activity vouchers. Post-race refreshments will be available, and the event includes voluntary beach clean-up sessions and a special XploreRide Hawaii offer with proceeds to the aquarium.
