LeaLea Charity Run 5K
The LeaLea Charity Run 5K is scheduled for October 11, 2026, at Magic Island / Ala Moana Beach Park in Honolulu, HI. The event uses a simple 5-kilometer course that circles Ala Moana Beach Park. Entry is open to people aged seven and older.
Entry fees are tiered by registration date: Early Bird until July 15, 2026 ($30), Regular from July 16 to September 30, 2026 ($40), and Last Minute from October 1 through the day of the event ($50). A student rate of $30 applies to participants under 21. Student groups of 10 or more receive a special discount.
All entry fees from this year’s event will be donated to the Waikiki Aquarium. Donations will support renovations to the aquarium’s outdoor exhibit "Edge of the Reef," intended to expand and increase interactive elements related to Hawaii’s coral reef ecosystem. An XR sightseeing experience, XploreRide Hawaii, will offer participants a special $10 rate, with proceeds donated to the aquarium.
Packet pickup takes place at the HIS Ala Moana Store at Ala Moana Center on October 9 and 10; the store address is 1450 Ala Moana Blvd Ste. 1206, Honolulu HI 96814.
After the run, refreshments and local food will be provided for finishers, voluntary beach clean-up sessions will be held at Ala Moana Beach Park, and awards and medals will be presented to top finishers overall and in 10-year age groups from 10 to 80 years.
