Lead the Way 5K for TLC
The Learning Center for the Deaf (TLC) holds its second annual Lead the Way 5K in Framingham, Massachusetts to benefit Deaf and hard of hearing students, individuals, and families supported by TLC across the Commonwealth and nationwide. The event is held rain or shine and is aligned with TLC's Annual Homecoming, which features vendor booths, food trucks, athletic games, and activities. Admission to Homecoming is free; food and vendor purchases carry additional charges.
Event formats include:
- 5K Run/Walk, 3.2 miles
- Virtual 5K, 3.2 miles, participate anywhere at any time
- Kids Fun Run, 1K
Registration includes an adult size T shirt in sizes S through 2XL for participants ages 11 and older when ordered by August 15, 2026. Fee tiers are listed by registration period and age groups: Early, Regular, and Late pricing apply with different rates for ages 11 to 17 and for adults 18 and older. Kids 10 and younger are free for the main event and may be registered separately for the Kids Fun Run. Only service animals are permitted on the course and event grounds.
