Lead the Way 5K for TLC - Framingham, MA
The Learning Center for the Deaf (TLC) organizes a second annual 5K Run/Walk in Framingham, Massachusetts to benefit Deaf and hard of hearing students, individuals, and families supported across the Commonwealth and nationwide. The event includes both an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a Virtual 5K option that can be completed anywhere at the participant's own pace. The event takes place rain or shine, and only service animals are permitted on the course and event grounds.
Registration opens June 1, 2026. In-person registration closes July 31, 2026; virtual registration closes September 19, 2026. Registration pricing is set by date and age group: Early Bird, Regular, and Late periods with different fees for ages 18+ and ages 11 to 17; children 10 and younger are free but should be registered if they take part in the Kids Fun Run. Walk-in registration will be accepted at late registration fees.
T-shirt orders are available for an additional fee and have a deadline of August 15, 2026; sizes offered are Adult XS through 2XL. The event coincides with TLC's Annual Homecoming, where vendor booths, food trucks, athletic games, and family activities are scheduled.
