5th Annual Grace + Grit 5K
This annual event takes place on May 16, 2026 in Milton, Massachusetts, at 255 Canton Ave. It is the fifth running of the Grace + Grit 5K and includes both an in person 5K and a virtual 5K option.
The event honors a local runner who used running and fundraising to support a range of charities over many years. After a diagnosis of stage IV metastatic breast cancer in 2015, she focused efforts on raising awareness and funding for metastatic breast cancer research. Over a 15 year period she helped raise more than $100,000 for causes she supported.
Proceeds support cancer patients and their families through the organizing foundation, which operates as a 501(c)(3) charity. The event combines a community road race with a virtual alternative to allow participation from different locations.
