5th Annual Katie's Grace + Grit 5K
The 5th Annual Katie's Grace + Grit 5K takes place in Milton, Massachusetts, starting and ending at Glover Elementary School. This community event honors the legacy of a local advocate and fundraiser by supporting metastatic breast cancer research and patient services. Participants can choose between two participation formats:
- 5k
- Virtual 5k
The course is open to runners and walkers of all ages. Strollers are permitted on the route, though bicycles and scooters are prohibited. There is no separate route for children, as they are welcome to use the main course.
Participants who register by April 30 are guaranteed their preferred T-shirt size. For those choosing the virtual option, race materials including a bib and T-shirt are mailed to the address provided during registration. Packet pickup is also available locally on the day before the event and on the morning of the race. Prizes are awarded to the top finishers in three categories: men, women, and children.
