Lazarus Brewing 5k Beer Run
This is an untimed, fun-run of 5k hosted at Lazarus Brewing Co. in east Austin on May 2, 2026. The route is mapped to start and end at the brewery and will be marked with arrows. The course is open to traffic and roads will not be closed, so participants are required to obey local traffic laws. The event is part of the 2026 Texas Brewery Running Series season.
All participants receive one craft brew at the finish line and a choice of a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series. There are opportunities to win prizes such as Brewery Running Series merchandise or beer to take home. The event offers live music, games, and additional partner giveaways during the festivities. Registered underage participants receive a token for a nonalcoholic beverage; a valid ID is required for age verification.
Event logistics note that the gathering is in person, open to all ages, and includes free parking. Registration is limited by taproom capacity and some events sell out. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event. The organizer states the Brewery Running Series donates a portion of proceeds to local nonprofits; this event will donate 10 percent to local organizations such as Austin Parks Foundation.
