Lazarus Brewing 5K
The Lazarus Brewing 5K is an untimed fun run that takes place in East Austin as part of the 2026 Texas Brewery Running Series. Participants can run, walk, or jog a 5 km course that starts and ends at the Lazarus Brewing Co. taproom on 6th Street. The route is an open course, meaning roads remain open to public traffic, and participants must follow all traffic laws. The path is marked with arrows and leads runners through the surrounding neighborhood and scenic routes.
Registration is open to all ages and fitness levels. All participants receive a craft beverage from the brewery at the finish line, with non-alcoholic options available for those under 21 or by preference. Entry also includes a choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal merchandise. The event features additional festivities such as live music, games, and giveaways from partners.
The event operates under rain or shine conditions. Dogs and strollers are permitted on the course, though participants are advised that the route follows city sidewalks and streets. A portion of the proceeds from the event supports local nonprofit organizations, including the Austin Parks Foundation.
