Austin Beerworks 5K
This event is a 5k fun run at Austin Beerworks presented by the Texas Brewery Running Series. The course starts and ends at the brewery and is marked with arrows. It is an untimed, open course on city sidewalks, streets and trails; participants are required to obey traffic laws and run at their own risk.
Participants receive one craft brew at the finish and a choice of a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series. The event also offers chances to win prizes and provides access to onsite activities such as live music, games and sponsor giveaways. Dogs and strollers are allowed on the course with care and caution. Registered participants under 21 will receive a token for a nonalcoholic beverage; a valid ID is required to claim alcohol.
The event runs rain or shine. There will not be a bag check. Registration is limited by taproom capacity and many events in the series sell out. A portion of proceeds supports local nonprofits; this event will donate 10 percent to local organizations including the Central TX Food Bank.
