Event Overview
The 5k Beer Run x Austin Beerworks is a recreational running event held in North Austin as part of the Texas Brewery Running Series. Participants follow a 5 km course that begins and ends at the Austin Beerworks taproom on Industrial Terrace. This is an untimed fun run designed for participants of various activity levels, including runners, walkers, and joggers.
The route is an open course, meaning roads remain open to public traffic. Participants are responsible for following all traffic laws while navigating the neighborhood. The course is marked with arrows to guide attendees from the start to the finish line.
Participation Details

- One craft beer from Austin Beerworks at the finish line (for participants 21 and older).
- A choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal merchandise.

Underage participants or those not consuming alcohol receive a token for a non-alcoholic beverage. Dogs and strollers are permitted on the course, provided they are managed with caution on city sidewalks and trails. The event takes place rain or shine.

The series focuses on supporting local organizations. Ten percent of the proceeds from this event are donated to non-profits, such as the Central TX Food Bank.
