Lauren's Run & Picnic 2026
The 32nd annual Lauren's Run & Picnic takes place at 4 Concourse Parkway NE in Atlanta. This community event brings together families, schools, and corporate teams to support pediatric cancer research for CURE Childhood Cancer. Over its history, the gathering has raised more than $6.2 million for medical research.
The event offers several participation options for different age groups:
- 5K Run/Walk (Timed) - Open to adults and children aged 5 and older.
- 2K Fun Run/Walk (Untimed) - Open to adults and children aged 5 and older.
- Tot Trot - A dedicated event for children aged 4 and under.
- Virtual Runner - An option for those unable to attend in person.
The 5K event is designated as a Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event. Registration is open to the public, with specific age-based categories for adults (13+) and children (5-12).
Following the running and walking events, the CURE Annual Picnic is held for all participants. This gathering includes a full lunch and various entertainment activities, such as music, dancing, arts and crafts, face painting, inflatables, and games. The picnic serves as a reunion for families who have been affected by childhood cancer and as a general community event. Parking and directions are available for the Concourse Parkway location.
