About the race
"Last Dot Standing" is a timed endurance event that alternates hourly out-and-back legs between Belleville Community Park in Belleville, WI and Dot's Tavern, a 70 year old tavern located just off the trail. Each leg requires runners to cover 4.2 miles within one hour, with the race restarting every hour on the hour from whichever location the field occupies. The sequence alternates Belleville to Dot's and Dot's to Belleville until only one participant remains as the Last Dot.
The event also offers multiple timed formats that use the same out-and-back corridor: 24 hour events held on Friday or Saturday, a 48 hour option, and a Saturday 8 hour event. Aid stations are provided every 4.2 miles along the course. Race materials include a race book and event swag; registration received by September 1, 2026 guarantees race swag and the Finisher's award.
The description above is limited to the event format, course segment, available timed formats, aid station spacing, and the registration guarantee for swag and awards. It does not include scheduling details or specific start times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
