Last Dot Standing Event
This is a last person standing event with a unique format. Participants start at Belleville Community Park. They have one hour to run 4.2 miles to Dot's Tavern, a tavern located just off the trail. At the start of the next hour, they have one hour to run 4.2 miles back to Belleville Park. This is not an out-and-back loop on the same path; it is 4.2 miles each way. The race restarts every hour on the hour, alternating between starting at the park and starting at the tavern, until only one person remains.
Prizes for the Last Dot Standing include a base prize for the last person standing, the last woman standing, and the last man standing, with potential increases based on a registration fee pot.
Other Events
The event also includes 24-hour races (with starts on Friday and Saturday) and a 48-hour race (starting Friday). Participants in these events run the same course between Belleville Community Park and Dot's Tavern, aiming for distance milestones to earn a finisher's buckle for completing 100, 150, or 200 miles. Special prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in the 24-hour and 48-hour races.
An 8-hour race is also offered on Saturday.
