Madison Shamrock Shuffle
The Madison Shamrock Shuffle is an annual multi-sport event held in Madison, Wisconsin. The event features several participation options starting from the 600 Block of State Street. Participants can choose between running, walking, or cycling through the city streets.
The event categories include:
- 5K Run (Timed)
- 5K Walk (Untimed)
- 10K Run (Timed)
- 10K Bike Ride (Untimed)
The 10K Bike Ride follows the same route as the 10K Run. This cycling option is scheduled as the first activity of the day. For those interested in competitive results, timing services are provided for both the 5K and 10K running distances. The walking and cycling categories are untimed, focusing on course completion rather than speed.
Registration for the event usually opens in September. Students are eligible for a discount on the registration fee by using a specific promotional code during the checkout process. Those utilizing this discount must present a valid student identification card during the packet pickup or registration phase at the event. In addition to the athletic events, a VIP option is available through a specific donation category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
