Larking Gowen Norwich Half Marathon
The Larking Gowen Norwich Half Marathon takes place on 4 April 2027 at the Norfolk Showground and is organised by Good Running Events. The event uses a start and finish within the Norfolk Showground site and a route along closed roads through the countryside in the Heart of Norfolk.
The course is fully closed to traffic for the event, marshalled and clearly signposted. There is a cutoff of 3.5 hours. Pets, wheelchairs and prams are not permitted on the course. Medical teams will be present onsite and marshals can radio for medical assistance if needed.
Chip timing is used and a bespoke medal will be available to all finishers. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers and to the first male and female in each age category. There will be at least four water stations on the course. In ear headphones are prohibited; bone conducting headphones are permitted provided runners can still hear marshal instructions.
Entries are non refundable but transfers to another runner are permitted until midnight on 21 March 2027. After that date unauthorised transfer of a race number may lead to disqualification, a ban from future races and referral to the permit regulators.
