Larking Gowen Norwich Half Marathon
The event takes place on 4 April 2027 at the Norfolk Showground and is organised by Good Running Events. The race starts and finishes within the Norfolk Showground site and follows a scenic route along fully closed roads through the Norfolk countryside.
The distance offered is the Half Marathon. The event holds a UKA permit (31198). Chip timing is used and a bespoke medal will be given to all finishers. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and to the first male and female in each age category. There is a cutoff time of 3.5 hours.
The course will be marshalled and clearly signposted. At least four water stations are provided on the route. In ear headphones are prohibited during the race; bone conducting headphones are permitted if marshal instructions remain audible. Medical teams will be present on site and marshals can radio for assistance.
The Event Village will be open on race day and race pack details will be provided nearer the event. On receipt of a race number, runners must write their name, any medical condition, and an emergency contact name and number on the reverse of the bib where requested. Transfers between entrants are available until 21 March 2027; entries are non refundable. Ample parking is available at the Norfolk Showground but the organisers accept no responsibility for vehicles, contents, or baggage.
