The Wensum Way Trail
The Wensum Way Trail is a trail running event held at Billingford Lakes, North Elmham Road, NR20 4RG. The course follows the Wensum Way within the park and combines tarmac paths, grassland and rugged trails. An aid station is located at base camp.
Available race formats include:
- 5.3 km out and back all trail with 9 m of climb.
- Heavy half marathon standard at 5 laps with an option to change to 6 or 7 laps on the day.
- Ultra marathon standard at 9 laps with options to increase according to time available, up to 12 laps.
Parking is included with entry. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal, with a Lucky Dip option available for selecting from previous medals. After finishing, participants are offered a complimentary coffee and cake.
A GPX file for the course can be downloaded from the course tab. The event is cupless, so participants must bring their own cup or bottle for refilling at the aid station to reduce waste. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
