Event details
The Wensum Way Trail takes place on 27 September 2026 at Billingford Lakes, North Elmham Road, NR20 4RG. The event is organised by Zig Zag Running and has a maximum of 300 entrants. Entries close on 26/09/2026. The event operates a cupless policy - participants should bring their own cups or bottles for refilling at the aid station. Transfers close on 20/09/2026. A minimum age of 18 years is stated for the event.
Course and facilities
The course is a trail route that includes tarmac paths, grasslands, and rugged trails and follows the Wensum Way within the park. The basic circuit is an out-and-back 5.3 km route. An aid station will be located at base camp. All finishers receive a bespoke medal; a Lucky Dip medal option is available for some distances. Parking is included in the entry. Finishers are offered a complimentary coffee and cake at the finish.
