Bure Valley 10 Miles
The Bure Valley 10 Miles is scheduled for 27 September 2026 and is presented as the event's 10th anniversary. The race is a 10 miles road event held on quiet country lanes in and around the village of Banningham, Norfolk. The course finishes on the village green opposite the Banningham Crown Pub.
The minimum age for entry is 16. There is a cut off time of 2 hours. The course is run on open roads and is not closed to traffic; headphones of any kind including bone conducting devices are not permitted and use during the race will lead to disqualification. No wheeled vehicles, dogs or following cycles are allowed. The course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes. The race will be run under UKA rules with licence number pending.
Prizes include cash awards of £50, £30 and £20 for first, second and third male and female finishers respectively. Additional rewards include free entry to the 2027 race for specified category winners, team prizes on accumulated time (three to score) and a £50 cash bonus for a new course record. The existing best times are Men 52:45 and Ladies 59:39. The event will feature a unique 10-year anniversary medal and an award for anyone who has run all ten races. Entry options listed are affiliated £21.10 and unaffiliated £23.10. Entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred; transfers to another runner are available until midnight on 09/09/2026.
