Marriott's Way 10k

The event is a 10 km trail race that starts in Aylsham on the Marriott’s Way and finishes in Reepham Market Place. The route is flat and mostly off road along the former railway line, running through Norfolk countryside and on softer ground compared with tarmac surfaces.

Start waves are used to space runners on the route; there are five waves set at ten minute intervals. Wave assignments are made on a first come, first served basis and do not correspond to predicted finisher times. Race numbers are posted to runners' home addresses; if a number does not arrive runners can collect it from Race HQ on race day. The start line is roughly a five minute walk from Race HQ and the adjacent car park.

Entry fees are listed for affiliated and unaffiliated entrants and there is a Corporate Challenge option for teams of four employed at the same organisation. Money from entry fees helps to fund council community services. Each finisher receives a bespoke medal and vest and additional goodies.

Practical arrangements include parking at Woodgate Nursery or Reepham High School, a bag drop that moves to the finish for collection, toilets at Woodgate Nursery and Reepham Market Place, a road closure affecting Ollands Road to Reepham Market Place, and a complimentary shuttle bus running between the finish and the start before and after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
