Lantern Pike Dash

The Lantern Pike Dash is a fell race that takes place as part of the "Three Days in May" series of events in the Hayfield area. It is scheduled for Sunday, 17 May 2026.

The race starts in a field next to the Lantern Pike pub in Little Hayfield. The route goes directly up Lantern Pike and back down again. It covers a distance of approximately 1.2 miles with an ascent of 630 feet.

Entry is only available on the day of the race. The entry fee is £3. The minimum age for the senior race is 14 years old. There is a separate junior race over a shorter course that takes place after the senior race. Registration and parking are located in the field by the Lantern Pike pub.

The race is part of the Hayfield Championship series for 2025, where it is categorized as a short-distance race.
