Lantern Pike Dash (Little Hayfield)
The Lantern Pike Dash is a short fell race of 1.2 miles with about 630 ft of ascent held near Little Hayfield. The route starts in the field next to the Lantern Pike pub (GR SK034882), runs directly to the summit of Lantern Pike and returns along the same line to the start.
Registration and parking are in the field by the pub. Senior entry is on the day only with a published fee of £3; the senior race is for entrants aged over 14 on the day. A separate junior race over a shorter course is held after the senior race.
