Lantern Pike Dash

The Lantern Pike Dash is a fell running event located in Little Hayfield. The course covers a distance of 1.2 miles (1.9 km) and includes 630 feet (192 meters) of ascent. The race follows a direct route, heading straight up to the summit of Lantern Pike before returning along the same path to the finish.

Registration and the event start take place in the field adjacent to the Lantern Pike pub. On-site parking is available in the same field for participants. This race is part of the "Three Days in May" series of local fell races.

The event is open to runners aged 14 and over. Entry is managed exclusively on the day of the race at the registration point. Following the senior event, a separate junior race is held over a shorter distance.
