AJ Bell Great Manchester Run : 31 May 2026
The AJ Bell Great Manchester Run is a city road race held in Manchester on 31 May 2026. The event offers two distances:
- 10k - 10 kilometres; downhill near the start and a short incline towards the end.
- Half marathon - 13.1 miles; begins with an incline and finishes on a downward section.
Entries are open for 2026 with a saver price available. The half marathon is sold out for 2026 and a limited number of 10k places remain; a booking fee of £3.00 is applied per entry. Age limits on race day are 15 and over for the 10k, and 17 and over for the half marathon.
Both races start on Portland Street near the junction with Oxford Street and finish on Deansgate. The event route includes live music and entertainment zones along the course and local spectator support. The UK Athletics 10k Road Race Championships will be part of the event in 2026.
Event features include a free Great Run event day tracking app with live tracking, photos and results, personalised race numbers, official event photos for purchase, an optional finisher’s t-shirt, a medal and a finisher’s bag.
