AJ Bell Great Manchester Run - 31 May 2026
The AJ Bell Great Manchester Run is a city centre road running event in Manchester offering two race distances. The event uses city streets and finishes on Deansgate, with the start located on Portland Street near the junction with Oxford Street. Participants run past landmarks including Coronation Street and the Imperial War Museum.

Entries are open to runners aged 15 and over for the 10k and 17 and over for the half marathon on the day of the event. A booking fee of £3.00 is applied per entry. Published entry prices include standard and later entry rates for each distance.
The event features live music, a high-energy soundtrack and entertainment zones along the route. Race day services include baggage buses located close to the start for each distance, personalised race numbers that contain timing chips, and official event day photos available to view and purchase. Results and runner tracking are available via the free Great Run event app. Race numbers are normally posted 1-2 weeks before the event; very late or overseas entries must collect numbers on the morning of the event.
Finishers receive a medal and there is an optional finisher t-shirt program that donates a portion of costs to a woodland appeal.
