43rd Annual Lanesville Heritage Weekend Road Race
The Lanesville Heritage Weekend Road Race is held in Lanesville, Indiana, at Lanesville High School, 2725 Crestview Ave NE, on September 12, 2026. The event includes three separate events and public registration periods with set fees.
Distances offered:
- 8 Miles: road race starting at Lanesville High School and moving into the countryside.
- 5 Miles: non-competitive walk or run on a rural course from the high school.
- 2 Miles: kids run that starts and finishes on the Lanesville High School track.
The 8-mile and 5-mile courses leave the school and pass several farms and rolling hills through the surrounding countryside. The 2-mile kids run uses an out-and-back layout on the high school track. Timed results will be provided for the kids run.
Awards are given for the 8-mile event to the top two finishers in each age group for men and women. The kids run awards the top two finishers for boys and girls. Gift card door prizes will be drawn after the races; winners must be present to win.
Registration opens August 11, 2026 and closes September 4, 2026. Published entry fees are $45.00 for the 8-mile run, $35.00 for the 5-mile walk/run, and $25.00 for the 2-mile kids run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
