Santa Sprint & Stroll 5k 2026
Santa Sprint & Stroll 5k is scheduled for December 19, 2026 at Hogan's Fountain on the Scenic Loop in Cherokee Park, Louisville, KY. The event is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series and benefits United Crescent Hill Ministries. Both in-person and virtual participation options are offered.

In-person entries include a long sleeve cotton blend shirt with youth sizing, a finisher medal, and post-race refreshments. The event offers photos with Santa. Awards use Ken Combs Running Store gift certificates for the top three male and female overall ($50, $40, $30) and top three in each age group. Age-group awards are given in five-year categories starting at 9 and under and extending to 80 and over.
Pre-race packet pickup is available at Ken Combs Running Store; race day packet pickup is at the Stegner Pavilion at Hogan's Fountain in Cherokee Park. Parking at Hogan's Fountain and the Scenic Loop is limited; organizers note many participants park further around the loop or use drop-offs. Parking on the grass may result in tickets or towing. Organizers also note past safety issues when vehicles left before all runners finished.
Virtual race results can be submitted between December 18 and December 21, with finisher certificates and rankings available after that submission window; submission instructions will be provided prior to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
