Santa Sprint & Stroll 5k : Hogan's Fountain, Cherokee Park, Louisville, KY
Santa Sprint & Stroll is an annual 5k event held at Hogan's Fountain on the Scenic Loop in Cherokee Park, Louisville. It is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series. The series allows participants who complete six qualifying races to receive a Run the 502 finisher medal with charms; registering for the series carries no fee.

The event includes a long sleeve cotton blend shirt with youth sizing, a finisher medal, refreshments after the race, and photos with Santa. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age categories; the top three overall male and female awards use Ken Combs Running Store gift certificates ($50, $40, $30).
Packet pickup and late registration are available before the event at Ken Combs Running Store and on race day at the Stegner Pavilion at Hogan's Fountain. Parking around the Scenic Loop is limited; available spots include a small lot and marked roadside spaces around Hogan's Fountain. Organizers note past problems with vehicles leaving through the finish area while runners remained on course and advise against parking on the grass to avoid tickets or towing.
