Santa Sprint & Stroll 5k 2026 : Hogan's Fountain, Louisville

Santa Sprint & Stroll 5k is a December running event held at Hogan's Fountain and the Scenic Loop in Cherokee Park, Louisville, KY on December 19, 2026. The event is organized by River City Races and is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series.

The event offers an in-person 5k Run/Walk and a Virtual 5k option. Registered participants receive a cotton blend long sleeve unisex race shirt available in youth sizes and a finisher medal. Refreshments are served after the event and photos with Santa are available.

Awards include Ken Combs Running Store gift certificates for the top three male and female finishers ($50/$40/$30). Top three finishers in each age group also receive awards; age groups listed range from 9 and under through 80 and over.

Packet pickup is available prior to the event at Ken Combs Running Store and there is race day packet pickup at the Stegner Pavilion at Hogan's Fountain. Parking at Hogan's Fountain is limited; there is a small lot and marked roadside spots around the Scenic Loop. Parking on the grass is prohibited and may result in tickets or towing. The event benefits United Crescent Hill Ministries. Virtual entrants can submit results online during the designated submission window and download a finisher certificate afterward.
