Santa Sprint & Stroll 5k 2026
The Santa Sprint & Stroll 5k is a community 5-kilometre run and walk scheduled for December 19, 2026 at Hogan's Fountain on the Scenic Loop in Cherokee Park, Louisville, KY. The event benefits United Crescent Hill Ministries and is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series; there is no fee to register for the Run the 502 series.
Race offerings include both an in-person 5k and a virtual 5k that can be completed at the participant's chosen location with results submitted during a specified window.

Participants receive a long sleeve cotton blend shirt with youth sizes available and a finisher medal. Refreshments are provided after the event. Age group awards are offered for the top three male and female finishers in each category, with Ken Combs Running Store gift certificates for top overall finishers. Photos with Santa are part of the event experience.
Pre-race packet pickup takes place at Ken Combs Running Store the day before the race, and race day packet pickup occurs at the Stegner Pavilion at Hogan's Fountain. Parking around Hogan's Fountain and the Scenic Loop is limited; organizers advise carpooling, drop-offs, or parking further around the loop, and request that vehicles do not park on the grass for safety and to avoid enforcement.
