Waverly Winter Warrior
The Waverly Winter Warrior takes place from December 13 to December 27, 2026 at Waverly Park in Louisville, Kentucky (4800 Waverly Park Rd, 40214). The event is part of a Winter Warrior Series that includes multiple park-based trail races; completing series events can earn a Warrior medal and shirt.

The course uses Waverly Park trails, including Twisting Bends, Clinic Loop, and Fresh Air Loops. The Start/Finish area is near the Playground Parking Lot and the course begins toward the lake, then enters trails next to the dog park. Total course distance is between 6 and 6.5 miles for the loop option. The course will have bright colored markings as navigation confidence markers. An aid station will be located about halfway on the course. Restrooms are available on site near the start area.
This event is CUPLESS; participants should bring a personal water bottle, hydration pack, or cup. Bottled water will be available in limited supply and water plus prepackaged snacks will be provided after the race. Packet pick-up is on site at the Playground Parking Lot before the event. Awards are given for Overall Male and Female. A virtual option is available by request; virtual finishers count toward Winter Warrior status but are not eligible for event or series awards.
