Louisville SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Louisville is a city road race staged around Waterfront Park and downtown landmarks. The course passes Historic Main Street, Waterfront Park, Louisville Slugger Field, and Yum Center. Event details for 2026 are subject to change.
Participants can select from multiple distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
Registrations include a race kit with a full-zip jacket and a finisher's medal. The finish area provides a finisher's mug filled with chocolate fondue alongside dippables and hot chocolate. The event also features a post race party with music and vendors at Waterfront Park.
A VIP upgrade called the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club offers a dedicated area, premium hot cocoa, onsite credit for purchases, preferred corral placement, and additional onsite amenities. Races are professionally managed and timed. Overall and age group awards are given for the 5K 10K and 15K with stated prize amounts for top overall finishers and place awards for age groups.
Expo and packet pickup are held at Louisville Slugger Field and are open to the public. There is no race day packet pickup; packets can be picked up at the expo or mailed when that option is offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
