SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run - Louisville
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Louisville is scheduled for December 12, 2026 at Waterfront Park (TurfMutt Great Lawn South, 231 E Witherspoon St). The event offers the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
The course passes notable downtown locations including Historic Main Street, Waterfront Park, Louisville Slugger Field, and the Yum Center. The post-race area at Waterfront Park includes a party with music, vendors, and a finisher mug served with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. Every registration includes a full-zip fleece jacket and a finisher's medal.
A Ghirardelli Cocoa Club upgrade provides additional onsite amenities such as a canvas tote with single-serve Ghirardelli cocoa, a $35 Hot Chocolate Store credit, VIP preferred corral placement, access to a dedicated Cocoa Club area, and an upgraded onsite experience that may include a hot breakfast item, heaters, and dedicated restrooms.
The Hot Chocolate Expo and packet pick-up take place Friday, December 11, 2026 at Louisville Slugger Field (401 E Main St). The expo is free and open to the public. Packet mailing is available for $20.95 per registrant with a deadline of November 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM; there is no race day packet pick-up.
Races are professionally managed and timed. Free high-resolution photos and race times are emailed to participants. Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance with cash prizes and complimentary registration for the following year. Age group awards are provided across standard age divisions including U14 through 80 plus; the 5K also includes a 9 and under division.
