Event details

Lakeland Paws: Dogs @ Dodd Double Header takes place on Saturday 9 May 2026 at Dodd Wood (Ca124Qe). The event is part of the finale weekend of the fourth season of Lakeland Paws canicross races and forms a double header with a follow-up event at Whinlatter on Sunday 10 May 2026. Entries open 25 July 2025 and close 8 May 2026. The minimum age is 16 or older. The entry fee is £19.00. The event organiser is Green Space Events Ltd.

Course and format

The courses use a mix of forest roads and trails, with many wide sections. Two dogs per runner are allowed on the wider parts, but some sections narrow and the final descent is relatively steep. Dogs must be run on a suitable harness; harnesses are available to borrow from Non Stop Dog Wear. Runners may also compete without dogs. Individual starts are used so dogs have space at the start.
