Lake Vista Lunatics Run - Borden, IN
Lake Vista Lunatics Run takes place on November 8, 2026 at Deam Lake SRA in Borden, IN. The event features timed endurance running and a separate single lap fun run on a marked trail loop that measures 4.167 miles.

The loop includes a summit section with grades around 25 to 30 percent, several creek crossings that can often be hopped, and rooty and rocky technical terrain near the top. The course offers a descent after the summit and a view from the high point.
Runners complete repeated laps on the marked course and return to the crew area or start for refilling water bottles and nutrition between laps. At the top of each hour runners begin another lap until their chosen duration ends. Total time for all laps is calculated; the fastest pace and lowest total time without missed laps determines the winner. This is not a last man standing format and runners must start at designated times.
Participants are expected to bring their own nutrition and hydration; limited electrolytes and backup nutrition will be available. The field is limited to fewer than 50 spots before waitlisting to control attendance. Awards include a finisher medal, a Lake Vista baseball cap with registration, prizes for top male and female endurance champions, and door or random prizes.
