The Country Lake 5K takes place on October 25, 2025, at Country Lake Christian Retreat, 815 Country Lake Road, Underwood, IN 47177. Entry is listed at $25 per person. Course, timing and festival
The course historically consisted of about 75 percent rugged trail and 25 percent road; organizers have adjusted the route to include more roadway and less rugged trail. The route winds around the lake and passes through wooded areas. The race uses an official timer, Photo Finish Timing, LLC, and will use staggered starts by desired pace categories (Competitive, Intermediate/youth, Leisure). The race is followed the same day by the Country Lake Community Day Fall Festival, which includes activities such as zip line, paintball, axe throwing, volleyball, basketball, off-road jeep rides, hay rides, music, and food trucks.
