Lake Meridian Triathlon
The Lake Meridian Triathlon is a multisport event held at Lake Meridian Park in Kent, Washington. The venue provides a clear layout for spectators and includes open areas for families. Participants can choose from several individual and relay options depending on their preferred distance and discipline.
The event features the following distances:
- Olympic: A 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run.
- Sprint: A 0.5 mile swim, 16 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run.
- Super Sprint: A 0.25 mile swim, 16 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run.
- Olympic Relay: A 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run for teams of two or three.
- Sprint Relay: A 0.5 mile swim, 16.4 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run for teams of two or three.
All participants receive a finisher medal and a commemorative shirt if registered by the specified early August deadline. After completing the course, athletes can access a post-race meal and attend an awards ceremony. Performance awards in the form of pint glasses are provided to the top five finishers in each age group for the Sprint and Olympic categories, and to the top three finishers in the Super Sprint category.
