Lake Meridian Triathlon - Kent, WA
The Lake Meridian Triathlon is a one-day triathlon event at Lake Meridian Park in Kent, Washington on August 15, 2026. The program includes individual and relay formats with multiple swim-bike-run combinations held at the park.
Event distances include:
- Olympic: 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run.
- Sprint: 0.5 mile swim, 16 mile bike, 3.1 mile run.
- Super Sprint: 0.25 mile swim, 16 mile bike, 3.1 mile run.
- Olympic Relay: 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run, 2- or 3-person team.
- Sprint Relay: .5 mile swim, 16.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run, 2- or 3-person team.
Registration windows and fees are specified by event; listed fees include $99 for Olympic, Sprint, and Super Sprint entries and $65 for relay entries. Registration opens on November 20, 2025 and closes on January 10, 2026. Registrations completed on or before August 1 guarantee the official race T-shirt.
Every athlete who finishes receives a finisher medal. Additional awards include custom pint glasses for top age-group finishers: Sprint and Olympic top five in each age group, and Super Sprint top three in each age group. The event includes a post-race meal and an awards ceremony. The venue is described as spectator-friendly with space for children to play.
The event is part of a three-race RTB series. Athletes who complete Black Diamond Triathlon, Lake Meridian Triathlon, and Bonney Lake Triathlon receive The Trident trophy at the Bonney Lake finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
