Tacoma City Turkey Trot : Tacoma, WA (2026)
The Tacoma City Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning running event organized by the Tacoma City Marathon Association in Tacoma’s Proctor District. The event offers a 5K Run/Walk and a Kids 1K for ages 12 and under, both starting and finishing near Fleet Feet Tacoma. The 5K course holds USATF certification WA22024RMB and course maps are provided.
Registration for 2026 includes:
- 5K Receive a commemorative finisher medal and a T-shirt (shirt guaranteed if ordered by 11/12/26).
- Kids 1K Receive a finisher’s ribbon; parents running with children do not need to register.
Registration also includes a collective bib, optional merchandise for purchase, and team discount pricing that increases with team size. All entry fees are non-refundable; transfers and roll-overs to the following year are not permitted. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian waiver.
Packet pickup is available before race day at Ruston Waterfront Market on November 25, 2026, with day-of packet pickup at the 5K start line. Gear check is provided and will collect non-perishable donations for the Northwest Tacoma Nourish Food Bank. A portion of proceeds supports the Humane Society of Tacoma & Pierce County. Medical services are provided by local partners. Timing, results, and photos are published online after the race. Awards include overall male and female honors and age-group ribbons for the top five finishers across age groups from 9 & under through 90+.
