Event overview
The Tacoma City Turkey Trot is a community run hosted by the Tacoma City Marathon Association on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington. The event takes place in the Proctor District with the start/finish at Fleet Feet Tacoma. The program includes a 5K Run/Walk and a Kids 1K for ages 12 and under.

The 5K course is USATF certified (WA22024RMB). Timing is provided by Ready, Set…Time! Photos are taken by CJ Photography and posted online after the race.
Logistics, entries and awards
Registration packages include a commemorative medal for 5K finishers or a finisher’s ribbon for Kids 1K, a t-shirt for 5K registrants (size guaranteed if ordered by 11/12/25), and a collective bib with timing chip. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Central Co-op in Tacoma; day-of packet pickup is also available at the 5K start area. Gear check is offered on race morning; donations of non-perishable food are collected at gear check for the Northwest Tacoma Nourish Food Bank.
Awards include overall male and female prizes and age-group ribbons for the top five finishers in multiple age categories up to 90+. Entry fees are non-refundable, not transferable, and do not roll over to the following year. Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver.
