Tacoma City Turkey Trot : Overview
The Tacoma City Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Tacoma’s Proctor District. The event starts and finishes at Fleet Feet Tacoma and is USATF certified (WA22024RMB). The organizer encourages Thanksgiving costumes and accessories.

Registration, logistics and awards
Registration for the 5K includes a commemorative finisher medal and a t-shirt (shirt size guaranteed if ordered by 11/12/25). Kids 1K participants receive a finisher’s ribbon; parents running with children in the 1K do not need to register. Team discounts apply at specified team sizes. Entry fees are non-refundable, transfers are not allowed, and participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian waiver.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Central Co-Op in Tacoma, with additional packet pickup available at the start line on race morning. Gear check is offered and food bank donations for the Northwest Tacoma Nourish Food Bank are collected at gear check. Medical services are provided by event medical partners. Results are timed by Ready, Set...Time! and photos are provided by CJ Photography. Age group ribbons are awarded to the top five finishers in standard age brackets, and overall male and female awards are given.
