Tacoma City Turkey Trot
The Tacoma City Turkey Trot is a holiday running event produced by the Tacoma City Marathon Association in Tacoma’s Proctor District on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The event offers two distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1K Kids run (ages 12 and under; parents may run with children without registering)
The 5K is USATF certified (WA22024RMB). Registration items include a 5K finisher medal, a 5K T-shirt (size guaranteed if ordered by 11/12/26), a finisher ribbon for the Kids 1K, and a collective bib. Team discounts apply for groups of 4, 10, and 15 with incremental price reductions. Entry fees are non-refundable and entries may not be transferred or rolled over.
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, November 25, 2026, with packets also available on race morning. Packets include a timing chip bib and a gear check tear tag; gear check is available on race day and closes 15 minutes before the race. Free street parking is available around the Proctor area with some parking restrictions noted near N. 26th St. and local store lots.
The event collects non-perishable food donations for the Northwest Tacoma Nourish Food Bank and donates a portion of proceeds to the Humane Society of Tacoma & Pierce County. Timing and race photos are provided and posted online after the event. Age-group ribbons and overall awards are distributed at the results tent; age groups extend from 9 and under to 90+.
