Holmes Chiropractic Care Gig Harbor Turkey Trot
The Holmes Chiropractic Care Gig Harbor Turkey Trot takes place in Gig Harbor, Washington on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The event is organized as a 5K where participants may run or walk; walkers and those with strollers start near the back. The event is timed by Tortoise & Hare Race Timing using RFID chips attached to bibs and employs chip start technology so each participant’s time begins when they cross the start line.
Packet pickup and merchandise sales are available the day before from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Gig Harbor United Methodist Church, 7400 Pioneer Way. Day of packet pickup and T-shirt and sock sales begin at Judson Street; shirts are offered for $20. Registration pricing is listed online and increases the day of the event; day of registration doubles to $60.
Participants are asked to bring two cans of food, no glass jars, to be donated the day of the event only. Proceeds benefit BackPack for Kids, FISH Food Bank, and scholarships for high school students entering college. The city of Gig Harbor does not allow dogs on the course. Attendees are advised to plan parking ahead and consider early arrival, drop off, ride sharing, or ride services to avoid parking problems. The event is described as family friendly.
