Lake Jovita 5K Reindeer Run
The event is a 5K held on the golf course at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club in Dade City, Florida. The course runs through the golf course and includes notable elevation changes compared with other local routes.
The event is stroller friendly and walking entrants are welcome. The run will be professionally timed by TRC Race Management. Medals are awarded to top finishers in each age category for male and female divisions, and all finishers receive a medal.
Music and snacks will be available for participants around the country club pool at the end of the run. A raffle will include various items plus two separate "Wagon full of Spirits" prizes, each containing at least 30 bottles including vodka, rum, bourbon, whiskey, beer, and wine. Raffle tickets are priced at $30 for one or $50 for two.
Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be given for the best adult and child costumes. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Sunrise of Pasco Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center, which offers free services including case management, counseling, and support groups for all ages.
