Resolution Adventure Race Brooksville

The Resolution Adventure Race is held at Lake Townsen Regional Park in Brooksville, FL on January 16, 2027. The event offers two timed formats: 10 hour and 5 hour races during which teams move by bike, boat, and on foot around the Lake Townsen Preserve and adjacent Withlacoochee River and Withlacoochee State Trail.

Course composition is approximately 60% biking, 20% paddling, and 20% trekking. The organizer provides canoes, paddles, and personal flotation devices; teams may bring their own paddling gear if packed in paddle bags. A race shirt, food and drinks during the race, and awards for place finishers in multiple divisions are included.

Equipment and rules requirements apply. Mandatory gear must be available for review before the event and the rules list must be carried during races. A mountain bike with flat handlebars and wider tires is required; gravel bikes are not permitted. Waivers should be completed ahead of check in.

Camping and parking notes: tent or car and van camping is permitted at the venue; sleeping in a car or van at the start area is allowed. RV parking at the start/finish is not permitted, though nearby campgrounds such as Silver Lake Campground and Buttgenbach Campground are available.
