Masaryk Wine Run 5k
Masaryk Wine Run 5k takes place at Masaryk Winery in Masaryktown, Florida on January 16, 2027. The event is a chip timed 5K run and walk set on a course that passes through vineyard areas.
The course is described as scenic and is mostly grass and dirt. The organizer notes it is not a course designed for personal best times. A pour of wine is included for eligible participants and the event provides a collapsible shatterproof wine glass.
Registration includes a Super Soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib, and online results. Minors may participate with a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib; these participants do not receive a wine glass or a glass of wine.
Age group awards are offered to the top three finishers in each age category. The event uses ten year age brackets: 19 and under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80 and over. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are available only on race day and will not be shipped.
Other details: packet pickup is available on race morning only, walking is allowed, strollers are permitted but not recommended because of uneven ground, children in strollers can participate free, and dogs are not allowed on site due to USDA restrictions.
