The event is a circular 30 mile challenge on Saturday 29 August 2026 with event headquarters at Rafford Village Hall, Rafford, Forres, Moray. The route starts and finishes at Rafford and uses forestry tracks and the Dava Way to reach Forres. From Forres the route follows Moray Coast paths and beaches to the Roseisle access point, then proceeds south on country lanes to Heldon Hill via Alves Village Hall. Timing has been planned around tide times to help participants navigate the coastal sections. There are two manned checkpoints at Findhorn and Alves offering refreshments and drinks, including snacks. A hot meal will be available at the Rafford Village Hall finish. Goody bags and certificates will be provided for all participants.

Transfers to and from Forres by prior arrangement are possible for those travelling by public transport. A proportion of places is reserved for non LDWA members.
