15th Annual Ladybug Run for CDH Awareness
The Ladybug Run for CDH Awareness is a multi-distance event held in Tigard, near Portland, Oregon. The race is hosted at Cook Park and features a course that traverses open green spaces and forested paths running alongside the Tualatin River. The physical event is designed to be stroller-friendly.
Participants can choose from a wide variety of distances and formats:
- 5K Run
- 10K Run
- 5K Walk
- 10K Relay
- Kids 1/2 or 1 Mile (Untimed)
- Diaper Dash
- Virtual 5K and 10K
- Virtual Kid Race
All finishers in the 5K and 10K categories receive a shirt, a medal, and a race packet. Virtual participants also receive a race bib, shirt, and medal. The event includes a staggered start with the line remaining open for 15 minutes to manage participant space.
The event serves to support the Ladybug CDH Foundation. The organization focuses on raising public awareness for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), funding medical research, and supporting families in the Pacific Northwest.
